Jungheinrich, the manufacturer of forklift and pallet trucks, has been named Northern European Supplier of the Year by CEVA Logistics.
CEVA, a global supply chain management company, awarded Jungheinrich with its accolade at a ceremony in Spain at its annual Global Supplier Awards.
The award was accepted on behalf of the Jungheinrich Group by Joachim Kiel, vice president key account management of Jungheinrich AG, and Tony Porter, divisional sales manager of Junghenrich UK.
The award was given in recognition of the high quality service Jungheinrich gives to CEVA across international boundaries.
Jonathan Morris, Jungheinrich UK Ltd’s sales director – corporate accounts said: “We are able to provide this because Jungheinrich has a well established direct network of international key account teams offering high quality products and processes globally. Therefore we retain ownership of our downward supply chain and are able to offer a uniform standard of service across CEVA’s business.”
Winners of other award categories at CEVA’s 2012 Global Supplier Awards included TNT (Road Supplier of the Year) and Cathay Pacific (Air Supplier of the Year).
