MACH 2016: MMMA to unveil number of firsts & innovations

The Metalforming Machinery Makers Association (MMMA) has announced a number of firsts and innovations when it heads to MACH in April (11-15).

Delegates to the biggest ever Metalworking Village in Hall 4 will be able to visit 20 member companies, showcasing the latest coil processing machinery; high speed presses; press brakes; die clamping; mechanical presses, and ancillary equipment and services.

Highlights include:

Crescent Machinery’s macc bandaws and circular saws, Surtech, belt grinders and tube notching machines.

There will also be a RHTC PB 60 Section bending machine and 30 to 50 tonne workshop presses on display.

Bruderer UK is promising to unveil a ‘UK’ first in high performance stamping. The company will be showcasing its BSTA 410-110 for the first time in this country, a new high-speed press that meets growing customer demand for greater production complexity.

Combining the dynamics of its well-proven BSTA 280 with the performance of a BSTA 510, the new machine boasts a stroke speed of 1,600 per minute and an impressive tool loading area of 1,100 mm.

Also on display will be Zani presses up to 1000 tonne capacity and technology from Unidor, covering Tool and die protection and press force monitoring.

In addition, there will be a range of equipment supplied by Atkin Automation, a member of Group Rhodes, present.

Experts from Schuler Presses will be on hand to assist with any questions around their wide range of products, including those used in the forging sector and in used press equipment.

The company offers comprehensive sales and service support for all the mechanical and hydraulic presses made by the Schuler group and is also the OEM for the Wilkins & Mitchell and Clearing press brands. 

Bulldog Industrial Holdings Ltd will be exhibiting a new CNC up and down bender from Varibend (6  m x 1.5mm capacity), equipped with grip feeders.

Also, on show will be a 3 m CNC folding machine from Schechtl – both machines are aimed at the construction industry for the production of flashing and gutters.

Bulldog’s other agencies for roll forming and coil processing equipment will be represented.

TMA Engineering will be unveiling a new range of power presses with the latest electrical safety controls and features. Special focus will be on a World Group Model JH21-80T with TMA servo feed and Rapid air feed.
