With a month to go before the UK’s largest manufacturing technologies exhibition kicks off, MACH 2016 has now officially sold-out.

MACH 2016 exhibition organisers, the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) has announced that all exhibition space has now been allocated.

Located in Halls 4 and 5 of the NEC complex in Birmingham, MACH 2016 takes place between April 11 and 15.

CEO of the MTA, James Selka commented: “MACH is a great barometer for judging the health of the UK’s manufacturing sector.

“And I am happy to report that the prognosis is excellent this year, as MACH 2016 is a SELL OUT.”

The biennial exhibition has more than 100 hundred years of heritage and prides itself on being at the forefront of technological developments.

This year’s even is no different, with expanded zones focusing on additive manufacturing; automation; metrology, and software solutions, as well as the traditional milling, turning, and tooling.

Upwards of 25,000 sqm of exhibition space has now been allocated, which translates into more than 600 exhibitors, with thousands of tons of working equipment – of which there is planned to be a staggering 15% more on show than in 2014.

The number of visitors to the show is also set to increase, with initial estimates indicating that over 25,000 visitors will pass through the exhibition during the five days.

Selka added: “MACH 2016 is set to be a real celebration of everything great and good in the UK manufacturing sector, and a fantastic shop window for UK PLC.

“With less than a month to go before the show we’re extremely pleased to pass this milestone and look forward a lot of business getting done at the show.”
