Event director, Nicholas Cox, looks ahead at plans for the UK’s largest ever industrial conference – Manufacturing Leaders Summit.
When Brian Holliday, the managing director of Siemens Digital Factory, stated that last year’s Manufacturing Leaders Summit was, “really moving the dial for UK manufacturing” it was clear The Manufacturer magazine had built an event that set the agenda for British industry.
However, as we count down to 14-15 November – our 10th annual conference – we are upping our game, to deliver a learning platform in Liverpool that can meet the needs of more than 1,000 senior delegates.
Each of the 10 streams is dedicated to a key opportunity for the country’s most ambitious manufacturers, and features speakers from some of the biggest names in British manufacturing, along with counterparts from the US, Asia Pacific and Europe.
Some of the 150+ leading manufacturers who will be speaking at Manufacturing Leaders’ Summit include: Airbus, Foxconn, Rolls Royce, Haier, Tata Steel, Tesla and Coca-Cola.
Manufacturing Leaders Summit is specifically designed to introduce you to the companies, facilities and people that drive Liverpool City Region and the wider North West’s success as the UK’s advanced manufacturing trailblazer.
This means that, in addition to being co-located with Smart Factory Expo, the Manufacturing Leaders Summit features pre- and post- conference manufacturing tours for delegates to venture beyond the conference rooms and see the people and places that make the region special.
As you can see, there’s a lot going on – and a lot of opportunities for you and your team to be exposed to some of the newest perspectives of some of the world’s most successful manufacturers.
I hope that you will join me and the wider family of The Manufacturer’s readers at Manufacturing Leaders Summit 2018!
