Technical director at Alumet, a specialist manufacturer for the renewable energy sector, recognised for entrepreneurialism by Insider magazine.
Lee Summers, technical director at the Southam-based construction and renewable energy specialist, Alumet Group has been listed for Insider magazine’s ‘42 Under 42’ awards.
This nomination recognises Mr Summers’ progression from factory floor to his senior management position. Judges for the awards also commented on the tangible contribution he has made to his organisation.
Summers only recently assumed the role of technical director, moving on from his position as environmental manager.
At just 30 years of age he is now responsible for Alumet’s new renewable technology division including the development of brands such as EOS Energy, BritSol and Spitfire Wholesale. More broadly, Alumet is involved in the development of technologies such as PV, solar thermal, air and ground source heat pumps and bio-mass boilers.
Commenting on his listing for the 42 Under 42 awards Summers said: “I feel very proud to have made the grade.”
Candidates for these awards from the British regional business publication, Insider, must be under 42 years of age and prove outstanding entrepreneurialism in supporting their business through troubled economic times.
