The Manufacturing Advisory Service issued £2m worth of grants in the North West in the last 12 months and still has a funding pot of £700,000.
Roughly 1,600 manufacturers have received the grants, which MAS maintains has created or protected 4,000 jobs.
Manufacturers can apply for financial support of up to £10,000 for product development, staff training and marketing.
MAS is hosting the Manufacturing Matters North West conference on June 25 as part of the International Festival of Business’ Manufacturing, Science and Technology week. The event will showcase the financial assistance that manufacturers have access to.
Director of the Business Growth Hub which funds MAS, Richard Jeffery said: “This year’s conference is an opportunity for manufacturers to see just how much support and funding there is out there.
“With over £700,000 still available to them in the current MAS North West programme, we would really encourage companies to come forward to see how we can help, whether they need funding for NPD or tooling or if they are looking to explore new markets, in the UK or overseas.”
