Wigan-based precision engineering company Total Manufacturing has secured several new clients in the valve industry, with assistance from MAS.
In order to fulfil the orders, the firm hired three people and received funding from the Manufacturing Advisory Service for designing tooling equipment and sourcing the necessary CNC macro and CAD training programmes.
Total Manufacturing’s managing director Steve Dean said: “We had to act fast when we secured the new business and to prove ourselves by delivering beyond our customers’ expectations. We needed help immediately.
“MAS came in and helped us to ensure we could get production going. Financial support for creating the tooling was also made available immediately, enabling us to get the components on to the production line and on their way to clients in a very short time.”
