A Derby-based medical device manufacturer is celebrating after recently scooping two prestigious awards.
Pennine Healthcare won the Commitment to People Development Award at the East Midlands Chamber Derby Business Awards on 25 October and was named Runner-Up in the Manufacturing Matters category at the Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2024 on 30 October.
The first award recognises Pennine Healthcare’s dedication to building an empowering and supportive environment for its team. From training initiatives to professional development programmes, Pennine Healthcare invests in its people at every stage of their careers. The company believes that its team members’ growth, skills, and satisfaction play a vital role in helping the business achieve its goal of protecting lives and advancing healthcare solutions.
The Make UK award was Pennine Healthcare’s second in as many years, having secured the top prize in the same category in 2023. It celebrates companies that make an outstanding impact in British manufacturing, and Pennine Healthcare’s The Heart of Life is Health and Menopause and Mental Health First Aiders initiatives were highly regarded.
