A laser contracting specialist is hoping to positively shape its future by taking on new recruits.
SSC Laser is a laser profiling specialist, based in Staffordshire but operating out of five UK locations. It uses cutting edge technology in its laser profiling, scanning and CAD services.
The company has taken on four new graduates; Conor Mullen, who will be based at their head office in Hixon, Nathan Wright will be based in Derby and Alex Watson and Chris Waites will be based in Sunderland.
The new recruits went through a tough selection process and were selected from a shortlist of 30 candidates.
SSC sales director Andy Evans, said: “These four young men outshone the competition.”
He added: “We strongly believe that modern day business is about ensuring customers are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner. We aim to exceed our customers’ expectations. We can only achieve this by recruiting and training the very highest standard of candidates.”
SSC plan to use the new recruits to further enhance the SSC Laser brand and create strong links with its clients. It hopes that by recruiting young people, it will set an example to other UK manufacturers and boost confidence within the manufacturing sector as a whole.
