Cambridge based global industry analysts and market consulting firm, Cambashi, today revealed the latest addition to its market data resource, the Cambashi Employment Observatory.

The report combines nationally reported data on occupational codes with Cambashi research on industry-wide activities, providing a source of information for establishing market potential before developing new products and services, as well as, fostering informed decision-making.

The research allows comparison between more than 50 countries across Europe, Asia, North America and South Amercia using internationally recognised standard classifications for industries and occupations.

Tony Christian, Cambashi Director, said:

“Understanding the professional backgrounds and the mix of potential users within an industry supports decision making on several levels, from overall market potential for market planning purposes to the use of the most appropriate approaches to use in sales and marketing engagements with key users, through to even identifying adjacent occupations being addressed by product variants.”

The research will provide consistent data across industries and occupations regarding the potential user base of any product line.
