An electronic components manufacturer has defied the downturn by adding to its workforce by more than 25 per cent in the last two months.
TMD Technologies, which supplies transmitters and microwave amplifiers for radars, satellites and electromagnetic testing facilities, has added 40 staff to bring its total number to 190.
TMD sales director Graham Brown said a massive rise in demand, particularly from abroad, has enabled the growth.
“By offering high reliability combined with unsurpassed performance, power and compactness, our products are becoming recognised worldwide as leaders in their field,” he said.
The company designs and builds from its premises in Middlesex, West London.
