North West gets the most RGF Round 4 projects funded

The North West of England has received the most number of approvals for funding of projects under Round 4 of the Regional Growth Fund, results out today show.

The region has had 18 projects funded, about 18% of the total projects funded by Round 4.

The East of England and South East got the second highest number of bids approved, with 17 projects.

Deputy prime minister Nick Clegg is at the Toyota Burnaston plant today to announce the results of RGF Round 4. Business Minister Michael Fallon is at CAB Automotive in the West Midlands to see how the revived company, that makes automotive interiors for companies including Jaguar Land Rover, is spending the money it was awarded in Round 3 of the RGF, awarded in October.
