ODYSSEY® Battery has renewed its partnership with Intact GP in a new two-year sponsorship agreement, extending its support of the team’s Moto3 World Championship campaign through to the end of 2027.
The deal marks the fourth consecutive year of collaboration between the high-performance battery brand and the German-based racing outfit, reinforcing a relationship built around shared values of engineering precision and performance.
The announcement comes on the back of a strong start to the season for Intact GP, with Spanish rider David Almansa securing a dramatic victory at the Thai Grand Prix. He is set to line up alongside teammate David Muñoz at the upcoming round at Circuito de Jerez, as the team looks to build early momentum in the championship.
For ODYSSEY’s parent company EnerSys, the extended partnership highlights the role of motorsport as both a proving ground and a global showcase.

Intact GP also emphasised the importance of continuity as it targets championship success. Stefan Keckeisen, team shareholder, said: “It’s fantastic to have continued support from ODYSSEY Battery. The 22-round Moto3 calendar will see the championship travel to key venues including Le Mans, Mugello, Sachsenring and Silverstone, before concluding in Valencia at the end of November.
As the season unfolds, the renewed agreement strengthens ODYSSEY Battery’s presence at the highest levels of motorcycle racing, aligning its brand with elite performance while supporting Intact GP’s ambitions on track.
ODYSSEY batteries are manufactured in five facilities globally, including in Newport, Wales.
