Fast-growing automation specialist Omega Control Solutions has joined the Siemens Solution Partner programme, marking a major step in its growth and reinforcing its role as both a system designer and manufacturer.
The partnership gives Omega access to Siemens’ digital twin and automation technologies, enabling manufacturers in sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, automotive, oil and gas, and emerging industries like hydrogen to design, test, and optimise systems virtually before anything is physically built. This capability reduces downtime, accelerates commissioning, and lowers operational risk.
With 19 years of engineering experience, Omega now combines its manufacturing capabilities with Siemens-certified systems, delivering fully optimised solutions from its own production facilities. Using digital twin technology, the company can virtually commission automation systems, cutting design iterations, shortening commissioning time, and ensuring peak performance from day one — a key advantage for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) seeking faster time to market.
Chris Starling, Systems Manager at Omega, said: “Becoming a Siemens Solution Partner is a significant step forward for Omega. Siemens’ scale, technology portfolio and market insight complement our own manufacturing capabilities and ambition. Together, we’re better positioned than ever to help customers navigate complex automation challenges with confidence and innovation.
“We’re particularly excited about expanding our work in emerging sectors like hydrogen and ATEX applications, where our expertise in designing and building complex control systems aligns perfectly with future industry demands.”
Omega’s announcement follows recent investments in state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, and workforce, including a purpose-built training centre for apprentices focused on Siemens technologies — a demonstration of its commitment to developing the next generation of automation specialists.
Olly Gibbs, Sales Account Manager at Siemens, said: “Omega’s strength lies not just in its technical capability, but in its deep understanding of the markets it serves. Their ability to navigate demanding environments in fast-evolving sectors makes Omega a valuable addition to our Solution Partner network. We’re excited to collaborate with a team that shares our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and delivering real impact for industry.”
While the initial Solution Partner status covers Drives and Motion Control, Omega plans to expand its Siemens accreditations as its manufacturing operations continue to grow.
