NiteSite, an SME manufacturer of night vision products, has released a new product which it says sets new standards for affordability and which will double its turnover.
NiteSite’s new ‘Spotter’ product is handheld and guarantees visibility for a range of up to 400 yards.
Full scale production of the ‘Spotter’ technology has been instigated following successful demonstrations at trade shows in Germany and Las Vegas. It is expected to be especially popular with the field sports and security markets.
Jake Horwell, European Sales Manager at NiteSite said the ‘Spotter’ technology will be “extremely affordable”. The product has been brought to market with the help of the Manufacturing Advisory Service which helped create a product development and marketing strategy with NiteSite including design for manufacture using injection moulding technologies.
NiteSite, an SME based in York was established in 2011. Its original products proved an immediate hit and all staff, including directors quickly found themselves working throughout the night to meet demand.
With strong demand pouring in for existing products as well as the new ‘Spotter’ technology NiteSite is expecting sales to hit £800,000 for the first time this year.
“This is a very exciting time and, as part of our expansion, we are hoping to create various new jobs across the business,” said Mr Horwell.
