Building Product Solutions is celebrating a number of new contracts wins which has boosted turnover by a remarkable 60%.
The company has seen its turnover rise from £2.2m to £3.5m for the financial year 2014/15.
Building Product Solutions has been investing heavily and in the past twelve months has taken significant strides to cement its position as a major supplier to the new build market.
After securing a number of high profile contracts wins with house builders the likes of Persimmon; Taylor Wimpey; Larkfleet; Harron Homes, and Gleeson, the firm is also boasting a £11m order book.
Incorporated in during the double-dip recession in 2009, Building Product Solutions has also seen staff numbers increase from 33 to 50 alongside the purchase of its manufacturing facility at Goldthorpe.
Other key milestones for the business have been extension of the premises to house a new glass plant bringing the entire production operation in house; the purchase of a new liveried vehicle fleet; the launch of bespoke on-site software, and sales director Lynne Darwin being named the first female Business Person of the Year by the Barnsley and Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.
Darwin commented: “The growth of the business reflects the investment and effort which has been made during the past year. This pace is set to continue over the next twelve months as the construction industry flourishes.
“We currently have around £11m in the order book, which will mean further recruitment and the expansion of the team. With further investment in our premises, machinery, processes and people we are looking at a very exciting year ahead.”
