Raleigh Coatings, a solvent and aqueous based adhesives and coatings specialist, is looking to create skilled jobs at its production facility following a record year for sales and turnover.
The Staffordshire company has seen sustained growth in demand for its contract coating services, particularly in the medical and specialist markets, and expansion into international markets, which has led to an increase in annual turnover to over £5m.
Later this year, the company will also complete the latest round of investment in its 35,000 square foot manufacturing and warehousing premises near Eccleshall, when it unveils a new complete silicon-gel clean-room coating production line, the company’s third line, which will more than double its clean-room production capacity.
General manager Peter Turton, said: “This sustained growth, investment and expansion means we will shortly be creating a number of highly skilled production roles within our new and existing clean-room production lines.”
Raleigh’s range of specialist coating services includes its clean-room coating facilities, operated to ISO 14644 Class 7 standards.
The company boasts a ‘pilot line’ facility, to enable customers to undertake small runs and ‘test’ coatings for new or improved products in production conditions but at a fraction of the cost and with quicker turnaround times, prior to moving to full production.
