Renault Trucks has broken the 300 vehicle-a-day production threshold across its plants during February.
The company had increased the rate of production at its factories to cope with the surge in demand, especially from eastern European countries. The introduction of weekend shifts has allowed the number of units produced per day to rise from 225 to 276 (on average), breaking through the 300 vehicle limit for February.
In keeping with this intensive production schedule, Renault Trucks will have recruited 3,000 new employees over the last three years.
