Sellafield Ltd has welcomed its largest ever cohort of graduates, as it powers on with its mission to create a clean and safe environment for future generations.

More than 140 graduates have just started their exciting careers with the company in a range of business and technical disciplines.

Sellafield’s graduate scheme aims to equip individuals with the skills, knowledge and behaviours necessary for a successful career in the nuclear industry, while offering the opportunity to build valuable professional networks.

Sellafield graduate alumnus, commissioning engineer Anouschka Van Mourik, has just finished the two-year scheme, being named Graduate of the Year prior to her completion.

Speaking about her experience, Anouschka said: “Being named Graduate of the Year was an incredible honour. The graduate scheme has been an amazing journey, rich with development and personal growth. I’ve not only advanced in my day-to-day job but also nurtured my passion for inspiring others to pursue careers in STEM.

“After earning my degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Sellafield has played a vital role in further developing my skills and supporting my personal and professional growth”.
