Three companies have publicly confirmed that they are pursuing the Shingo Prize, its UK organisers, The Manufacturing Institute, have confirmed.
BAE Samlesbury, Nortel Telecommunications and Ultra Frame Windows will be attempting to convince the judges they are worthy of the award and The Manufacturer will be following their progress.
The Shingo Prize has hit British shores for the first time this year, having been awarded in the US for 20 years. It promotes use of world-class operational excellence strategies and practices to achieve world-class results in business.
