“Survive and Thrive” – free seminars to aid businesses

Posted on 3 Dec 2008 by The Manufacturer

There are a series of free seminars being held across the East-Midlands over the next week where businesses can get advice on how the measures outlined in Alistair Darling’s pre-budget report will affect them.

The Survive and Thrive seminars are directed by the East Midlands Development Agency. Topics covered will include how to cut costs, negotiate with bank managers, avoid redundancies and motivate staff.

The schedule is as follows:

Lincolnshire – Thursday 4th December, Lincolnshire Showground at 1.00pm

Leicestershire – Tuesday 9th December, The Ramada Hotel, Leicester at 8.30am

Nottinghamshire – Thursday 11th December, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Nottingham at 8.30am

The sessions last half-a-day. Two more events, today in Derby and yesterday in Northampton, were fully booked.

There are only 200 spaces available so businesses are urged to book early. See surviveandthrive.org.uk.

Ed Note: Are you planning to attend any of the sessions? Have you been to any so far? I’m interested to find out your views on how the seminars went. Email [email protected] with your thoughts. Thanks
