Syspro Software was this month named the winner of a coveted Bronze Stevie Award for the Innovation in Technology Development category in the third annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.

The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognise innovation in the workplace in all 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region.

The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards for more than a decade.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala banquet at the Westin Hotel in Sydney, Australia on 27 May.

More than 600 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year in categories such as award for Excellence in Innovation in Products & Services, award for Innovative Management, and award for Innovation in Corporate Websites, among many others.

Syspro Software won in the Innovation in Technology Development category.

“Espresso delivers the mobility businesses are now looking for as well as great value,” Shaun Butler, CEO of Syspro Asia said. “We spent time perfecting things like the look and feel, inherent simplicity, and no-nonsense functionality of the product – all critical in satisfying a workforce that increasingly craves instant access to information and services.”

Syspro Espresso offers convenience, choice and mobility. This platform allows users of Syspro ERP to access their vital business data in any location at any time for device agnostic data collection and transaction processing. It is one of the first platforms of its kind to use a single source codebase to create native applications for any mobile device, with built-in powerful customisation capabilities for both the end-user and developers to engage.

Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 50 executives around the world acting as judges in March and April.

“We look forward to celebrating this year’s group of Stevie Award winners in Sydney for their innovations and achievements,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “We extend our warmest congratulations to all of this year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Award winners.”
