At a reception at the House of Lords, entries for the UK’s biggest manufacturing awards of the year were officially opened, and Santander was officially confirmed as the Official Banking Partner of the programme for the third year in a row.
The Manufacturer MX Awards 2019 will also be supported by category sponsors Autodesk (Product Innovation & Design), RS Components (Supply Chain Excellence) and Sage Enterprise Management (Operational Excellence).
The winners will be announced on 14 November 2019 at the awards ceremony and gala dinner, to be held in Liverpool.
The Manufacturer MX Awards are unchallenged as the UK’s biggest celebration of the manufacturing industry, and is part of Digital Manufacturing Week 2019, a suite of top-level events that attract the biggest and most qualified visitor base in the manufacturing sector.
Even after breaking all records in 2018, 2019 is expected to be even bigger and better.
Paul Brooks, UK Head of Manufacturing, Santander Corporate & Commercial, said: “Santander is delighted to be supporting The Manufacturer MX Awards again in 2019. The Manufacturing sector is more important than ever to the UK economy and these awards showcases the very best we have to offer from world-class businesses across the UK.”
Nick Peters, Editorial Director of The Manufacturer, commented: “We are delighted that Santander will be official banking partner again this year, underlining their deep commitment to the UK manufacturing sector.
“The entry process is now open and we are anticipating record numbers of submissions, reflecting the current buoyant mood and optimism in the sector. The ceremony itself will be held on the 14 November at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre as the finale to the Digital Manufacturing Week 2019.”
