Sheffield-based Gripple has taken on five 'potential leaders of the future' following the success of last year's inaugural graduate recruitment programme.
This year’s programme attracted more than 300 applicants who were reduced to 50, and then judged for communication skills, intelligence and team spirit, to be crucial to their business success.
After this process, the numbers were whittled down to 20, with a combination of face-to-face interviews, a graduate assessment day and a selection of tasks deciding the successful intake.
This year’s successful graduates are:
Katie Filson (Sheffield Hallam University)
Samuel Lee (University of Chester)
Ewan Gilfillan (University of Sheffield)
James Kennedy (University of Sheffield)
Annabel Hornsby (University of Bristol)
Gripple chairman, Hugh Facey, who initiated the programme, said: “I believe strongly that effective training and attentive mentoring are essential to turning bright recent graduates into much-needed entrepreneurs. I always welcome them to Gripple, where we do our utmost in putting this strategy into practice.”
