It’s happening soon - on 15 and 16 November, the ‘Solutions Theatres’, as part of ‘the Digital Manufacturing Week 2017’ in Liverpool open the doors for our event visitors.
At the brand-new four ‘Solutions Theatres’, manufacturers from around the globe will gain deeper insight into crucial topics such as ‘Smart Factory’, ‘the Future of Logistics’ or ‘The IoT Edge’ from world-class manufacturers and tech expert.
Within the scope of the Smart Factory Expo, all visitors have the opportunity to attend all four ‘Solutions Theatres’ – Digital Transformation, Industrial Automation, Industrial Internet, and Smart Factory, which are located in each technology zone – for free.
In one of the Theatres – ‘Smart Factory’, sponsored by IBM, around 20 top-speakers from eminent companies will discuss in a new conference style, topics such as ‘Practical ways to embrace 4IR’, ‘Factory in a box’ or ‘The cognitive factory’.
Tony Whitelaw, IBM’s marketing manager, said he is very excited about attending event since “it provides an excellent opportunity to discuss the positive outcomes IBM cognitive manufacturing and supply chain solutions can bring to UK Manufacturing organisations.”
The main reason for IBM to sponsor one pillar of the ‘Solutions Theatres’ was “clearly the sheer scale of the event, the breadth and quality of the attendees”, as Whitelaw explains.
Whitelaw is convinced the ‘Solutions Theatres’ are perfect for “forward thinking manufacturing organisations who are looking to adopt Industry 4.0 technologies as outlined the then recent Industrial Digitalisation Review paper.”
