Time’s running out! Partner up and access up to €600k to fund research & innovation

If your business has an innovative idea for a new product or service, and has a strategic partner based in the Republic of Ireland, the Co-Innovate Programme has just the package of support for you!

Funding of up to €600,000 is now available to SMEs for a limited time with the deadline for applications fast approaching on 7 June 2019. All partnerships must have at least one partner based in ROI’s border counties and one partner based in NI/ Western Scotland*.

Co-Innovate is currently looking for cross-border projects with strong commercial potential, from SMEs in the manufacturing or tradeable services sectors, to apply for their project support and help accelerate innovation within your business.

Co-Innovate Programme

Partnerships are probably the most effective way an organisation can drive innovation and adapt to today’s changing landscape – getting there just takes a bit of dedication, faith and SUPPORT – this is where Co-Innovate can help.

Co-Innovate is an innovation programme that is supported by the European Union’s INTERREG VA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

Funding Available

Co-Innovate’s Business to Business and Cluster partnership programmes can provide your business with the opportunity to form a strategic research & innovation partnership to accelerate the development of a new product or service to improve your business’s competitiveness.

With funding up to €600,000 available to support a 24-month research and innovation project, applications are welcomed from all sectors, they are particularly encouraged from the renewables energy, life and health science and agri/food tech sectors.

*Eligible areas include Dumfries & Galloway, Ayrshire, Lochaber, Skye & Lochalsh, Arran & Cumbrae and Argyll & Bute and Eilean Siar/ Western Isles.
