County Down glass company Toughglass has announced it is to make 60 of its staff redundant due to a drop in demand.
“There is a question mark about the full-time employment of the other staff as well,” said DUP representative Jim Wells. “Some of them may be put onto part-time work, so it is a very worrying time for the town.”
