Chorley-based engineering specialists, Lyndhurst Precision Engineering, is continuing to establish its reputation for cost effective engineering solutions for a leading Japanese automotive company.
The contact commissioned Lyndhurst to design, build and test an innovative prototype and production machine for the manufacture of automotive components.
It is the latest development in a long and positive relationship with their Japanese client, who they have been working with for more than 10 years.
Part of the agreement involved representatives from Japan recently spending four days in Chorley discussing the design and manufacture of the project as well as meeting engineers and being given a tour of the state-of-the-art Lyndhurst Precision engineering facility.
Lyndhurst Precision Engineering specialises in customised engineering solutions, based on thorough research and development, including reverse engineering where necessary.
The company has major blue-chip clients in numerous key sectors, such as nuclear, aerospace and defence, automotive, renewable energy, food and medical.
