Members of the union Unite will gather in Westminster tomorrow to protest against wide scale public spending cuts expected in Wednesday’s Comprehensive Spending Review.

The workers will congregate outside the House of Commons on College Green at 1:30pm tomorrow (Tuesday 19). They will hold a map of Britain broken up into shattered pieces to symbolise what they think the cuts will do to the country.

As well as the loss of important public services, Unite has warned that public spending cuts will mean job losses in the private sector too. It says for every four public sector jobs that are lost, a further three will be suffered in the private sector.
