United Titanium, a leading U.S. manufacturer of engineered fasteners, fittings and precision components, has announced a new phase of growth following its acquisition by private equity firm Riverspan Partners.

The Wooster, Ohio-based manufacturer, founded in 1962, will continue to operate under its existing leadership team and remain headquartered in the city.

The manufacturer has built a global reputation for technical excellence and serves customers in defense, aerospace, medical and dental, electronics, petrochemical processing and marine engineering. Its expertise in titanium, zirconium and other specialty metals, coupled with advanced manufacturing capabilities and rigorous quality standards, has secured longstanding relationships with blue-chip clients across multiple sectors.

Mike Reardon, President of United Titanium, said the company’s five-decade journey has been defined by its focus on quality, innovation and customer service. “We have built a remarkable business together, and I am thrilled that the team has found an ideal partner for the next chapter,” he said. “Riverspan deeply appreciates the people and processes that have contributed to our success and is keen to build on those strengths to capitalize on the significant growth opportunities in our core markets.”

With the support of Riverspan Partners, United Titanium is expected to accelerate product innovation, strengthen operational excellence and expand its global customer base. The company said it will benefit from further investment in both people and technology while continuing its commitment to the Wooster community.

As part of the transaction, industry veteran Paul Schwarzbaum will join the United Titanium Board of Directors. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
