The largest trade show in the UK for the water, environment, energy, land and sustainable business sectors will take place in four weeks.
Taking place at the NEC Birmingham on April 20-22, Sustainabilitylive! brings together experts in the field and decision makers across a range of industries, from large multinationals to SMEs and the public sector, all shaping the UK business approach to move to the low carbon economy of the future.
Sustainabilitylive! 2010 features 350 exhibitors along with 250 speakers participating in five strands of seminar programmes and conferences. Highlights will include a political debate with all three major parties on their perspective of what happened in Copenhagen, and what is to follow, with Colin Challen MP (Labour), Lorely Burt MP (LibDem) and the Right Honourable John Gummer MP (Conservative).
Other topics will include: the Olympic Delivery Authority and green transport under the aegis of the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership and Sustainable Business.
The Event will share the experience of companies such as BBC Worldwide, BT, Ladbrokes, Hewlett Packard, Hilton Hotels, Marks & Spencer and Virgin Media in their approach to the low carbon agenda. With a celebration evening for the winners of the Environment and Energy Awards there’s plenty on offer for visitors to Sustainabilitylive!
“Sustainabilitylive! is unique in being able to offer visitors access to the leading players in five key sectors; a visit to Sustainabilitylive! is a valuable spend of time,” says event director, Donna Bushell. “We’re pleased that so many companies have joined us this year, and will help to make this truly the leading gathering for excellence and innovation in responding to the sustainability agenda.”
