Vidrala, a global leader in glass packaging for the food and beverage sectors, continued to improve its results in the nine months to September, driven by the consolidation of its industrial model. Net profit reached €173.4 million in the first nine months of the year. Earnings per share rose by 6.4% compared with the same period last year to €4.99.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at €338.5 million, up 2.9% on the same period last year, with the EBITDA margin increasing by 27 basis points to 29.5%. Leverage remained low, at 0.4 times pro forma EBITDA for the last twelve months.
Sales increased by 2% to €1,146.5 million. Against a backdrop of subdued conditions in Europe, South America delivered particularly positive performance, with growth of 16.9%.
On this basis, and despite a macroeconomic environment marked by strong inflationary pressures, Vidrala reiterates its outlook for the full year 2026: EBITDA of around €450 million, above the previous year; earnings per share growth of more than 5%; and free cash flow generation of around €200 million, consolidating a distinctive profitability profile following the completion of a new phase of industrial investment.
Our results for the first nine months of 2026 reflect the impact of the management measures we have taken and the strength of Vidrala’s business model. In an adverse macroeconomic environment, we have strengthened margins through cost control and our competitiveness.
With demand still weak in Europe, we have identified pockets of recovery and captured growth in South America. And despite an ambitious investment plan, we have generated cash in line with expectations and reduced debt.
We are strengthening our position as a partner of choice for our customers, a position that supports our industrial strategy and will translate into higher sales. The future belongs to us.

Creating value for shareholders
Stronger together
Vidrala is consolidating a more integrated and competitive Group model, structured around three industrial platforms: Southern Europe, the UK and Ireland, and South America. The recent creation of Vidrala UK & Ireland, the new name for Encirc, embodies this evolution, bringing together under a single identity operation with a strong track record, distinctive industrial capabilities and, above all, the experience and talent of their people. The new identity simplifies the Group’s brand and celebrates a shared journey with customers and people.
