Back in June, The Manufacturer announced its 2025 Top 100 cohort. As part of winning, we ask everyone a series of questions about themselves. One of those is to tell us an interesting fact about them that not many people will know and some of them had to be shared! Here’s our Top 10 interesting facts from our Top 100….
Mike was named one of the Top 100 in 2025 for being a Digital Transformer and is Head of Operations at BAE Systems. He is driven by a passion for sustainable, people-focused improvements, he thrives on solving complex problems and leading high-impact operations that boost both performance and morale.
Marie was named one of the Top 100 in 2025 for being an Inspiring Leader and is CEO at CBE+. She is a passionate leader dedicated to building a sustainable, purpose-driven business with a strong culture. After entering manufacturing through finance, she led the transformation of five companies into one innovative, integrated firm.
Lindsey was named one of the Top 100 in 2025 for being Net Zero Hero and Unsung Hero and is a Procurement Manager at Walker Filtration. She is driven by the fast-paced, high-impact world of manufacturing and supply chain. From leading her team through the launch of a medical division during the pandemic to earning her CIPS qualification, she’s passionate about building resilient and future-ready supply chains.
Nigel was named as one of the Top 100 in 2025 for being a Sector Activist and is Vice President Production and Planning at Britvic. He found his way into FMCG after a physics and electronics degree, quickly discovering a passion for sales and later, supply chain. With over a third of his career dedicated to the field, he’s driven to build world-class supply chains.
Katy was named as an Exemplar in the Top 100 in 2025 for being an Innovator and is Strategy Director at Europlaz Technologies. She joined the family run business initially coming on board for a short-term marketing project and never left. She’s passionate about building something meaningful, leading major innovations and driving the company forward through both challenge and growth.
Geraldine was named in the Top 100 in 2025 for being a Sector Activist and is Ceo at the Confederation of British Metalforming. She has spent 43 years rising from a youth training scheme to the top role, all while earning a degree, working full-time, and raising three children. She’s passionate about championing UK manufacturing, having led initiatives that saved members over £100m in energy tax and continues to advocate for the sector.
George was named in the Top 100 in 2025 for being a Digital Transformer and Innovator and is Manufacturing Systems Lead at Morgan Advance Materials. He has a passion for continuous improvement and digitalisation, only entering the industry in 2023 with no prior experience. In just a year, he progressed by self-teaching and now drives impactful, end-to-end solutions.
Bill was named in the Top 100 in 2025 for being a Digital Transformer and is Director of IT at Evtec Automotive. He has nearly 30 years in UK manufacturing and is driven by innovation, empowering people, and using technology to transform operations.
Danny was named in the Top 100 in 2025 for being an Innovator and is Head of Manufacturing at Northern Lights. He leads production and health and safety with a passion for efficiency and team collaboration. Rising from a warehouse operative in 2011, he’s driven continuous improvement through workflow streamlining, cost reduction, and strong cross-department communication.
Tony was named in the Top 100 in 2025 for being an Unsung Hero and is Non – Executive Senior Projects Director at NSK Europe. He has over 30 years of manufacturing experience spanning ICT, logistics, supply chain, change management, and strategy delivery. Passionate about problem-solving and people, he’s led major initiatives including a European logistics service, global security infrastructure, and in-house ERP systems.
