Jaguar Land Rover this week announced a £1.5bn investment in new models, which is to create 1,700 jobs at the automotive’s advanced manufacturing facility in Solihull.
Billed as the most significant technological investment in recent memory, JLR used this week’s Frankfurt Auto Show to unveil its plans.
These plans include the creation of a new lightweight aluminium architecture for its vehicles and the release of a new SUV model.
