Electronics manufacturer C-MAC MicroTechnology recently held a ceremony at its Great Yarmouth offices to recognise the performance of two of its suppliers.
Hi-Rel Lids of Harleston, Norfolk and Kyocera Fineceramics of Fleet, Hampshire both suppliers achieved 100% on-time delivery and quality in the year to September 2011.
C-MAC, a manufacturer of electronic systems, modules and components for harsh environments, values its reputation for producing reliable and durable products; therefore its supply chain is therefore critical.
Hi-Rel supplies milled, stamped or formed metal lids for C-MAC’s hybrid packages, while Kyocera supplies HTCC (high-temperature co-fired ceramic) packages which are used as an alternative to metal-bodied packages.
Sharon Bracey, supply chain development manager at C-MAC said: “These awards recognise the outstanding supply performance of Hi Rel and Kyocera Fineceramics. Mutual success is down to the very close partnerships with our strategic supply chain members.”
James Viney, sales engineer at Kyocera Fineceramics said: “We’re delighted to receive this award from C-MAC. We work hard to ensure we have aligned visions so we can deliver product on time and with zero defects.”
Stuart Norris, managing director at Hi-Rel Lids said: “Hi-Rel has a long association with C-MAC in many ways which has helped us to understand C-MAC’s technological and commercial needs as a forward thinking manufacturer of hybrid circuits.”
