UK exporters are being sought for The Manufacturer magazine and Global Trade Reviews’ UK National Awards for Export Excellence (UKNAEE).
The importance of UK exporting is paramount for future growth in manufacturing and remaining competitive.
Companies, no matter how small or large, are being encouraged to place an entry or several entries as submissions can be made free of charge into as many categories as they wish.
Grant Collier, one of the organisers commented: “The benefits of winning a national award like this are well documented with increased sales, staff morale and recognition among the industry.
“The PR benefits alone can be significant in raising a company’s profile with the national coverage it generates”.
In a recent survey by Hennik Research, 71% of manufacturers felt positive about the future, and a similar number suggested that the economy was being managed reasonably well, with only 12% of respondents suggesting otherwise.
With the recent renaissance in UK manufacturing, coupled with a continued positive outlook, now is an ideal time to shout about British exporting achievements.
Chief finance officer for Hayward Tyler Group Plc and the 2015 winner of The Manufacturer MX Awards Exporter of the year, Nicholas, Flanagan noted: “It is a real recognition of the input all of our staff into the business and it means a terrific deal to all of our staff and I know they’ll build on this in the future.”
