3D printing and additive manufacturing equipment is becoming increasingly more affordable and versatile, entering a number of different industries and as a result driving UK manufacturing into the future. Join us for our 3D and Additive Manufacturing conference in Birmingham to learn from industry leaders about the best ways to invest in 3D printing.

Under the arrangement, Canon will market, sell and support 3D Systems’ advanced manufacturing 3D printers, including the ProJet 1200, 3500 series, 4500, 6000 and 7000 in the UK and Ireland, with a view to rolling out across Europe.

Through the partnership, customers will have access to 3D Systems’ advanced 3D printing technology.

Focusing on prototyping for rapid product development, Canon will offer the 3D printers to its customer base in the UK and Ireland, across the engineering, manufacturing and architectural market segments.

Enabled by advances in technology and driven by demand from the manufacturing sector for increased production efficiencies and customisation, the 3D printing market is growing rapidly. Research and advisory company, Gartner, has predicted that end-user spending on 3D printers is expected to increase from $1.6bn in 2015 to around $13.4bn in 2018.
