Country Antrim-based manufacturer, Copper Industries has agreed a £3m contract with Let's Talk Solar.

The manufacturing deal, which will begin recruiting within the next few months, entails Copper Industries producing the Fusion Elite Cylinder under license for the next three years.

The technology is hailed to be the world’s first and only solar-powered dual central heating and hot water system.

The Irish-owned technology uses energy from daylight, rather than direct sunlight, making the products more conducive to the country’s climate.

Managing director of Copper Industries, Charlie Shivers said:

“By combining Copper Industries’ expertise in engineering and shared commitment to environmentally-sustainable manufacturing processes with Let’s Talk Solar’s ground-breaking technology and rapidly-growing distribution network, we look forward to developing a productive and profitable future together.”

Director of Let’s Talk Solar, Michael Keane, said:

“Copper Industries is renowned for the world-class quality of its manufacturing processes and commitment to achieving ongoing customer satisfaction, qualities that we, at Let’s Talk Solar, combine with cutting-edge design, pioneering technology and a 10-year warranty to produce the most reliable and sustainable central heating systems on the market.”

Let’s Talk claim the system could reduce energy bills by up to 92%.
