London’s first Waldorf Astoria property is set to open in Admiralty Arch in 2025, with site accommodation for the restoration provided by Portakabin.

Battery manufacturer launches budget battery storage subsidiary
GivEnergy has launched a budget battery storage subsidiary, Polar ESS, to make home battery technology more accessible and affordable.

Stellantis continues to lead UK electric van market
Stellantis continues to lead the UK electric van market, according to the latest registration figures published today by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
Peugeot took the crown for the best-selling electric van brand in the UK, having increased its market share by 2.6 percentage points over 2023 to 16.7% year-to-date, with Vauxhall following closely behind in second place. More via Stellantis

Sales rise 9% at British Engines as demand for engineering solutions increases
Growing demand for British Engines’ products solutions has triggered a 9% boost in revenues amid tough trading conditions, accounts show.
The Newcastle engineering group, made up of eight subsidiaries spread across the region, has filed figures for 2023 showing an £11.9m rise in turnover to £141.6m, leading to operating profit of £5.7m, up from £4.4m. More via Business Live
