Elmo Rietschle’s Bad Neustadt factory in northern Bavaria, Germany is celebrating manufacturing its two millionth product.

Founded two decades ago when it was carved out from Siemens, Elmo Rietschle specialises in the design and manufacture of side channel blowers and liquid pumps for a range of industries. More via The Manufacturer

New Barnsley chocolate factory holds golden ticket for careers in STEM

A new chocolate factory is set to open its doors in Barnsley to inspire and educate the next generation of UK manufacturing engineers.

In-Comm Training celebrates record year by launching new blueprint for growth

One of the UK’s leading training providers is celebrating a record year after it completed several strategic projects and saw demand for engineering and manufacturing apprenticeships and upskilling courses soar.

First production of recycled magnets at Tyseley Energy Park, Birmingham

Manufacturing to be a focus for 2024 as Town Deal delivers for Brighouse businesses

After 18 months of planning, high-tech manufacturing through Industry 4.0 will come to the heart of Brighouse in 2024 with the launch of the i4.0 Hub, where small and medium sized businesses can explore how digital technology can improve their productivity and increase innovation.

The project is part of the £19.1m Brighouse Town Deal, funded by UK Government and led by Calderdale Council and the Brighouse Town Deal Board. £650,000 of this investment has been allocated to the Industry 4.0 project which is being delivered by Calderdale College who are developing the Hub at The Engineering Centre at Kirkdale House on the Armytage Road Industrial Estate.
