SCALA Logistics Debate 2012 set to revitalise logistics approaches.

This annual debate hosted by logistics consultancy SCALA and supported by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport will be held on June 27 at the Marriott Forest of Arden.

The debate will run from 18.30-21.30 and will be led by a panel of logistics experts from a broad selection of industries.

Panel members at the 2012 debate will include: Jonathan Downes, supply chain director of ABF Westmill Foods; Jane Burkitt, senior supply chain director at Pepsico; Lousise Gennis, vice president HR retail at DHL and Terry Maywood, group operations director at Rymans.

The debate will follow the culmination of the Fresh Connection competition which pits teams of industry employees against one another in a test of logistics ingenuity.

The 2012 competition has been characterised by a strong focus on sustainability.

The focus for the 2012 SCALA Logistics Debate is ‘Taking the grey hair out of logistics’.
