DS Smith is celebrating after scooping an accolade at the recent Nestlé UK Supplier Awards for 2024.
Having been nominated in several categories, DS Smith won the Simplex Innovators Award, in recognition of their ground-breaking solutions in support of Nestle’s objectives ranging from innovative approaches to cost reduction and optimisation of supply chain efficiency.
The award highlights outstanding performance across key areas such as innovation, sustainability and dedication beyond the call of duty and the exceptional contribution of DS Smith teams working within SMI, Packaging and Display.
In addition, two individual DS Smith employees – Gill Stapleton, Client Director and Michael Rutherford, Key Account Director – received recognition for their exceptional contributions and efforts in enhancing the collaboration between DS Smith and Nestlé.

The Nestlé Suppler Awards event were held on 15 October at the 02 Indigo in London, bringing together partners and suppliers to recognise their exceptional contributions to Nestle’s success over the past four years.
DS Smith supplies into all Nestlé manufacturing and co-packing sites across the UK.
