Leading global manufacturer of automation and industrial robotic solutions, FANUC UK has announced that it will be moving its UK headquarters to a new advanced building at Ansty Park, Coventry.
According to FANUC UK, the 107,000 sq ft building will be developed by Highbridge Properties plc in partnership with the government-led Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) on a seven acre landscape site.
The site is due for completion somtime in early-2017.
The building will comprise a 56,000 sq ft design, manufacturing and training facility, 43,000 sq ft of offices, and an 8,000 sq ft showroom area.
Managing Director of FANUC UK, Tom Bouchier explained: “Our new headquarters will enable us to grow and develop our team of industry experts, and offer the highest quality services to our customers.
“As our business continues to evolve, we look forward to working alongside a variety of technological centres of excellence.”
Director of Highbridge Properties, Adrian Hill added: “FANUC will be a great addition to the already strong occupier base at Ansty Park.
“Furthermore the impressive design and high specification of the building will enhance the excellent scheme quality within the development.”
HCA’s executive director for the Midlands, Karl Tupling added: “The HCA is pleased to have played a part in securing another new facility at Ansty Park.
“It’s further proof of the confidence investors have shown in the Park in recent years, which have seen it become home to a number of world renowned specialists, contributing significantly to the Midland’s economy.”
