A French-based engineering business is the latest company to join the ranks of the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham, having taken a tenancy in the AMP Technology Centre.

AD Industrie is a tier one supplier to the global aviation industry, providing clients with components and assemblies made from high performance metallic and composite materials.

The group’s broad range of capabilities offers a single source solution to manufacturers of aero-engines, equipment and aero structures.

The company supplies clients within the aerospace and environmental energy sectors, including Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Snecma, Bombardier, Messier Bugatti Dowty, Thales, Siemens and Alstom Power.

Barry Hindson said: “We chose the AMP against other locations specifically due to its technology association and involvement in the aerospace sector and related industries. The AD Industrie group supplies many customers who are also involved on the AMP, one example being Rolls-Royce, so there is a good synergy.”

Philippa Hedley, from the Advanced Manufacturing & Materials team which supported AD Industrie in making its decision, added: “It is great to welcome AD Industrie to the AMP, and to see that the Park continues to attract leading international companies. We look forward to working with the AD Industrie team in the future as they continue to develop and grow their presence here at the AMP.”
