Leading air conditioning specialist, Grayson Thermal Systems has marked 15 years of supplying Thermo King by securing its prestigious ‘Dealer of the Year’ award.
Grayson Thermal Systems saw off competition from Europe, Middle East and Africa to take the title, after reportedly impressing judges with its approach to customer service and aftermarket support.
The Birmingham-based company has enjoyed year-on-year growth, supplying Thermo King air conditioning parts and systems for more than 1,000 customers in the bus, coach and rail sectors.
Dealer principal, Ian Hateley explained: “This is a very tough competition and involves some excellent businesses both in the UK and overseas, so illustrates the strength of what we do and how we are delivering the Thermo King product range in a manner that customers appreciate.”
He continued: “A lot of time and money is invested in our sales and servicing team, providing them with the latest product training and equipping them with the best possible skills and tools to ensure maintenance is completed smoothly and any breakdowns rectified quickly.

Established in 1978 and currently employing almost 50 people, Grayson Thermal Systems designs, manufactures and supplys engine cooling, heating and air conditioning products to commercial and specialist vehicle industries worldwide.
Its dealership is located in a dedicated 12,000 sqft centre in Elmdon, at the heart of the West Midlands next to the Airport and NEC.
Thermo King’s complete product range for bus, coach and rail includes full air conditioning systems; electric cab AC; air moving components; blown air heating systems; compressors; convector heating, and coolant moving components.
The company also offers tailored contract maintenance and servicing options to suit all requirements.
