A uniquely candid insight into the work of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars will air on Channel 4 (UK) next week (Thursday 20 March at 2100 GMT).

Filmed over a landmark six-month period for the marque, Inside Rolls-Royce captures the extraordinary lengths Rolls-Royce’s dedicated and passionate workforce goes into creating and presenting the world’s finest motor cars.

The film tracks the crafting of the Celestial Phantom – the most valuable Bespoke Rolls-Royce ever created. The extraordinary feat of hand-setting 446 diamonds into the car’s interior serves to display Rolls-Royce’s hallmark attention-to-detail.

A Rolls-Royce Wraith moves along the production line at the Goodwood factory.

“I am delighted that Channel 4 was able to capture a key part of such a remarkable year for Rolls-Royce. As we celebrated our first decade at the new Home of Rolls-Royce with the creation of the extraordinary Celestial Phantom, the marque also opened an exciting and bold new chapter with the launch of Wraith,” said Richard Carter, Director of Global Communications, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “This film opens our doors like never before; treating viewers to a rare insight into the restless strive for perfection that informs every part of this remarkable British manufacturing success story.”

The cameras were also present as Rolls-Royce introduced Wraith to customers and media. A special drive event at the Yas Marina F1 Circuit in Abu Dhabi provides a rare glimpse at the new generation of young, discerning and highly successful customers the marque now attracts.

The unique manner in which Rolls-Royce presents a new motor car to the world’s press also features, once again showcasing the marque’s restless pursuit to deliver a pinnacle and effortless experience to its guests.

Inside Rolls-Royce will also air on 4Seven on Thursday 20 March at 2305 GMT and Friday 21 March at 2100. It will be available on Channel 4’s online catch-up service, 4oD following initial transmission.
