Kembrey Wiring Systems, an international provider of electrical interconnect solutions, has been recommended for accreditation to AS9100 Revision C and BS EN ISO 9001:2008.
The Swindon-based manufacturer passed the rigorous audit at its first attempt.
“We are extremely grateful to our workforce for their on-going commitment to process improvement and in helping us achieve this objective,” said Kembrey’s quality manager Adrian Woodridge. “We have put a huge amount of effort into strengthening our systems, processes and procedures in order to provide our clients with the very best service possible”.
The certification validates the quality of Kembrey’s wiring and interconnect systems and strengthens its position as a supplier to the aerospace, defence and security market.
The LRQA lead assessor said: “The commitment demonstrated was excellent from senior management with evidence of its vision and mission statement and desire for only the best quality and delivery performance; through to the integrity, loyalty and professionalism of people building looms”.
Kembrey says it intend to leverage the certification in the company’s continuous improvement initiatives in support of its existing and future clients. Paul Wonnacott, Kembrey’s new operations director, said “At Kembrey we are aiming for total excellence in performance, quality and delivery, the AS9100 Revision C certification demonstrates Kembrey is on the right path to achieving our long term goals”.
