DSB For Deliveries has been a major business partner to Avery Weigh-Tronix for the past 20 years.

During our partnership we have grown and developed by making the effort to listen at all levels within the company, researching exactly what is required and applying our expertise to find the most competitive solution.

This has enabled us to provide a UK wide same-day service from a complete weighbridge to a schedule of time critical deliveries to every UK location of leading supermarkets utilising all variations in size of vehicles. This would label us as a ‘lean enterprise’, but in reality it’s what we’ve being doing for years as a growing business – keeping our finger on the pulse or VOC of customer requirements.

Vanessa Gray, DSB operations manager, says: “By working with Avery Weigh-Tronix as it examined its logistical processes we were able to assist in the reduction of numerous large transport companies to consolidate to just one complete solution, thereby enabling unprecedented savings and efficiencies and help maintain its competitiveness in the market place. Our part of this successful partnership has been due in the main to quickly identifying what the customer wants and then doing something about it – we are never able to sit still as we are only as good as our last delivery. The pressure to perform is always there as our business is constantly evolving to meet the new and exacting needs of our customers.” We are shortly launching a new next day
UK network specialising in time critical small (hazardous) package deliveries for major healthcare companies. This will add yet another dimension and five new depot sites to the diverse capabilities of our logistics company.
