Street CraneXpress ltd provide Corus with maintenance, inspection and repair/upgrade services for its electric travelling overhead cranes as well as other items of overhead lifting equipment.
Currently, Street CraneXpress is working in partnership with Corus Distribution to establish a comprehensive mechanical handling service package for all the lifting equipment at a series of strategically nominated Corus sites.
Street CraneXpress began by undertaking a detailed review of each nominated site to gain an understanding of the usage of each individual crane. This information was then used to formulate the correct service frequency per crane primarily based on age and duty characteristics. This information can be updated on an on-going basis to align service frequencies with any changes that the client may make in shift patterns or products.
In line with the service and inspection package, Street CraneXpress provide 24 hour breakdown/ repair cover for Corus, 365 days of the year. This is complemented by the provision of a vast range of spare parts available to Corus should it wish to undertake any repairs utilising its own maintenance teams.
In addition, Street CraneXpress provides many of Corus’ manufacturing sites with refurbishment, conversion and modernisation services for overhead cranes, plus additional equipment such as monorail systems, replacement hoist units, jib cranes and fall arrest systems. By working closely with Corus, and offering bespoke maintenance packages tailored to its needs, Street CraneXpress aims to ensure that the safety, reliability and longevity of its lifting equipment is maximised.
