Tickets are now on sale for this year’s SMMT Annual Dinner, taking place on Tuesday 27 November at Grosvenor House on Park Lane, London.

Claimed to be one of the most anticipated events in the automotive calendar, the Soceiety of Motor Manufacturers and Traders annual bash will move to a larger venue this year, following the popularity of last year’s event which sold out six months in advance.
SMMT’s President, Nigel Stein, Chief Executive of GKN plc, will make the keynote address, reflecting on the achievements of UK automotive as well as looking ahead to what will be another important year for the sector. A celebrity after dinner speaker will be announced in the coming weeks.

Showcasing SMMT’s work and the strength of the UK industry, the winners of SMMT’s Award for Automotive Innovation 2012, supported by GKN Driveline and the Autocar Courland Next Generation Award will be announced during the evening’s proceedings.

With automotive at the forefront of a manufacturing-led economic recovery, this year’s Dinner promises to be another must-attend event, and a unique opportunity to join members, colleagues and friends from across industry, government and media for an evening of networking and discussion.

SMMT is offering ‘earlybird’ discounts for bookings secured before 1 June 2012. Until this date, tickets are available at a significantly reduced rate of £170+VAT for SMMT members and £225+VAT for non-members, as well as discounted bookings available for tables of 10.
